Can the steps be Polyaspartic coated even though they’re made out of wood?

Depending on what product and manufacturer is being used it can smell pretty foul. Most odors are caused by products that have a high amount of odor solvents added to them and use cheaper raw materials.
How slip-resistant are Polyaspartic coating?
This Polyaspartic coating is textured due to the vinyl paint flakes, making it fairly slip-resistant. Polyaspartic coatings are less slick than epoxy coatings because epoxy is glass-like and very slick to walk on, especially when wet.

How Long do I Need to Stay off my Polyaspartic (Epoxy) Coating After it is Installed?
In general, we recommend that you don’t walk on a Polyaspartic new coating for around 4-6 hours.
What are Polyaspartic (Epoxy) Concrete Coatings?
Polyaspartic is a term that refers to an “Aliphatic Polyurea.” Polyurea coatings tend to be slightly more well-known, because they are often used in tank coatings and spray down truck bed liners.
Can Polyaspartic (Epoxy) Coatings be Used Outside?
Yes. The majority of these systems are UV stable, which means that they will resist damage from UV rays. This ensures that Polyaspartic Coatings are suited to exterior applications.

Will you coat over the felt pad between the floor and the wall?
The felt pad can be caulked over and then coated over. We use a special caulk that bonds to the felt pad as well as our specific product.
Will Polyaspartic (Epoxy) coating crack if the concrete cracks?
When your concrete cracks from shifting overtime, usually the expansion joints will catch a majority of the cracks.
Can I fill the expansion joints after the Polyaspartic (Epoxy) coating is installed?
You can definitely fill the expansion joints in once the Polyaspartic coating is installed.
Do the expansion joints get filled during the installation?
This can go either way. We do not recommended filling in your expansion joints. The expansion joints are there for a reason: to force cracks to occur inside them versus in the middle of the floor.
Can Polyaspartic (Epoxy) coating be applied when it’s cold out?
Yes we have summer and winter blends of our products.
What is the best way to clean my Polyaspartic (Epoxy) coated floor?
The Polyaspartic coatings we install are very easy to clean and maintain. We recommend using a squeegee with soap and water to clean the surface of the coating.
Can you coat my driveway with the polyaspartic (Epoxy) coating?
We do not recommend coating driveways, especially if it has a slope.
