Polyaspartic (Epoxy) Coating Installation Preparation
What should I do to prepare the floor before my Polyaspartic (Epoxy) Coating installation?
Floor Coating Preparation:
The garage needs to be cleaned out ahead of time. If you don’t know what to do with your belongings inside the garage, we do offer a storage solution for $150. We will drop off a 14ft enclosed trailer a couple of days prior to the install date and pick it up a couple of days after to give you plenty of time to load and unload your stuff. If you have stuff hanging on the walls or from the ceiling, it’s not a problem! Just make sure it’s off the ground two to three feet. You can leave all of that up since the dust will be minimal.
We want to ensure that the concrete stays completely dry before the installation. If it snows or rains a few days prior to the installation date, we recommend parking your cars outside so water doesn’t drip onto the floor. There is no need to pressure wash or sweep the floor beforehand.
